Scopze Day Service offers day respite for people with disabilities.
It was initially established in 2012 for clients that had been accessing Disability Resource Centre (HB) Trust services for a number of years but then required a more structured day with additional support workers.
Scopze seeks to provide opportunities for people with disabilities to participate in their community in a supportive, structured environment.
Each client attending has an individual plan which is carried out in conjunction with family and Whanau and from this an individual programme is created.
Activities at Scopze may include:
- Cake decorating
There are also opportunities to access community activities such as:
- Ten Pin
Scopze Day Service is open between the hours of 9am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.
