Supporting and equipping people to reach their full potential

We work to promote opportunities for the independence, mobility, and recreation of people with disabilities as well as providing occupational, social and personal opportunities. We also distribute information and provide assistance to our community and overall foster, encourage and support the work of people with disabilities.

Leanne quietly observes what is happening around her before choosing what and when she wants to join in. She has been learning line dancing and regularly attends Shake, Rattle & Roll and Sit & Be Fit which provide low impact physical fitness. Leanne especially enjoys receiving hand massages improving her flexibility and movement.

It is great to see the improvements in your physical wellbeing.

Building up everyday life skills is important for Jim to improve his confidence and independence.

Jim was extremely happy with the amount and quality of food from a recent visit to the Social Supermarket in Onekawa. He is looking forward to his next appointment there. It enabled Jim to do home baking which he enjoys whilst learning different ways to budget better and make healthy choices.
